To become familiar with color meaning and associations;
To use color knowledge so that students will make purposeful choices when using color
In the color unit I learned a lot, not just about the color blue, but about all different colors. I learned about primary colors (red, blue, and yellow) and I learned about secondary colors (violet, green, and orange). I learned that some colors make other colors pop out more, such as blue and orange. I also learned about the history of the color blue. I learned that Hindu’s gave one of Krishna (god) blue skin. I also learned that blue is more of a settling color, and blue can be represented by cold, and calm. This is important to my learning because I learned more about colors than I ever knew!

2-7-14 The Eye Mia Pearlman
I like the "Eye" because to me it goes up very far! It looks very neat, and I enjoy the way it looks. To me, it kinda looks like a tornado the way the paper is twirling up! Wow! Neat! Hmm, I wonder what she got her idea from, maybe an eye?
